i got a new laptop last week, and i've spent quite a lot of time on it. unfortunately it wasn't eligible for a free window 7 update, so i'm stuck with vista for now.

i nuked norton, of course, and turned off the nag box that popped up whenever i installed anything. i'm still not sure why vista won't let me save an xml file in the program files folder -- something to do with permissions, though my account is an admin account. dumb.

it's also frozen up a couple times, but i'm hoping thats something i can chase down myself.

overall though, i do quite like it. :)
