I think the fact that in the last few days I have shared a couple Tamil youtube clips has fooled Google Reader into thinking that I understand the language. :)

I haven't clicked through, though -- it's possible that merely the title is in (what I assume is) Tamil, and the actual blog is in English.

I do subscribe to a few Indian issues & culture-related blogs (Sepia Mutiny, for example), so I'm sure that's complicating the algorithm.
