"A poll, written by Dave Soldier, was conducted on Dia's web site in Spring 1996. Approximately 500 visitor's took the survey. Dave Solder and Nina Mankin used the survey results to write music and lyrics for the Most Wanted and Most Unwanted songs." The description of the unwanted music is priceless in and of itself...
zpz was sweet. a more formal writeup will come tonight.
joe travers on drums: sweet. and ray white, though i think a lot of people sort of forget him (at least, he lives in the shadow of ike willis), was great as well.
so, i've decided that i need to get shit done. for serious. i mean, i do a lot, playing shows, going to shows, etc., but i have shit at my place that needs to be done. for example, i started rearranging my apartment a few months ago, but got too busy to finish it, and it's stayed in a state of half completion since then. dumb.
so, i'm making a list of things that i will spend 15 minutes each day to complete. these things include alphabetizing my dvds and emptying out the spare room (which has never really been done since mcdeviltoast moved out a year ago). also, i've decided to do the dishes every day (which i used to do but haven't in a while).
on top of that, my cable was shut off -- i forgot to pay the bill. i'll pay it friday, but i missed Flight of the Conchords and John from Cincinnati yesterday. luckily, it looks like episode 4 of FotC is here.
anyway, he just put up a track (over on his blog) for download. i'm digging it. it's a collab with the dudes from racecar.
emmit and i collaborated on a kool moe dee remix recently -- i think there are finishing ouches to put on it before it can be put out on the internets.
