so, i went up to columbus on saturday and caught the almighty Gil Mantera's Party Dream.

awesome.

jarod (a.k.a. Lord Grunge of Grand Buffet) was there:



and these two dudes Richie and Glen were there too.



but first up was columbus solo act Bunny Poe. he was like a comedic, sort-of goth guy. pretty nice.



Beast was next -- they were sort of an instrumental queens-of-the-stone-age-meets-deep-purple type thing.



after some setup, gil mantera came out and did a song on his own.



then he was joined by his brother, ultimate donny.



then, they rocked the fuck out.



then things got weird.



and then weirder.



gil had to convince donny to continue.



it didnt work initially.



but soon donny was back.



they ruled.
